Hey, I'm Jose!
People call me the Millennial Money Mentor.

How I Found My Calling To Help Others Grow Financially
As the son of South American immigrant parents, I have always been taught the importance of hard work and serving others.

Even though we had it rough growing up financially, I'm forever grateful for the sacrifices my parents made when they brought me and my brother to the US for a chance at better lives.

Because of the financial hardships we had to overcome, I saw first-hand how important money was at a very young age.

Thanks to baseball, I was able to earn a scholarship and was the first person in my family to attend college.

I studied finance in school because deep down, I remembered many of those difficult moments we lived through, largely due to a lack of access to proper financial literacy in our household.

After school, I studied hard and earned the Series 7, Series 66 & CRPC© certifications and had the opportunity to work as a financial advisor at one of the top investment advisory firms on Wall Street.
It Was Truly A Once In A Lifetime Opportunity For Me...
I was employed by one of the most respectable firms in the industry, working hands-on with wealthy clients and getting real, professional experience while being mentored by people that really understood money.

Growing up in the environment that I did and being the first person in my entire family to work in finance, it should've felt like a dream come true.
But Deep Down I Started Feeling A Deeper Calling...
Day One in the wealth management world.
It was incredible getting to work with the 1%, but I soon realized that wasn't why I got into this.
I was so passionate about finance because I knew how hard money was to come by growing up.

My parents didn't have a lot of it, and they worked their fingers to the bone to get what they had just so they could get by living paycheck to paycheck.
I wanted to become an expert in finance so I could ensure my family would never go back to the same place and so I could teach other people who come from similar places to do the same.
I saw every day how Wall Street finance firms overlook those who aren't extremely wealthy.

At many firms, unless you meet their "minimum asset requirements", (which usually starts around $1 million) you're not worth their time.

My family never had that. And many of the people I wanted to start serving didn't either (yet).

While I was incredibly grateful for the opportunity and experience, deep down, it didn't feel like I was doing what I was put on this Earth to do.
That's why I walked out on Wall Street to create Financial University.
(My last day)
I wanted to create something that ANYONE could join so they can get all the tools, education & guidance they need to build wealth for their family and all the generations that come after that.
I put my all into this platform to ensure that nothing was left out - and it was made in a way that is easy to understand and apply.

Whether you're just getting into investing, have been doing it for a while and want to level up or you've been at it for years and need the investing secrets of the 1%, Financial University is designed for you.

We have multiple courses that are designed for each level of your financial journey, so no matter where you're at, you'll be able to get started (and start building wealth) consistently with what’s most important to you in mind.

We've served people hundreds of people just like you, ranging from complete beginners all the way to seasoned financial professionals that want to bring their clients more value.

I appreciate you for taking the time to read my story and Financial University’s mission. I hope to see you on the inside.

Hey, I'm Jose! People call me the Millennial Money Mentor.

In 2017, I was living the "American Dream"... but to me it was a nightmare.
As the son of South American immigrant parents, I have always been taught the importance of hard work and honoring people.

I lived by this motto my entire life and it carried me through my college baseball career and into the world I'd always wanted to be in: finance.

After being the first person in my family to graduate from college with my finance degree, I studied hard and got my Series 7, Series 66 & CRPC© certifications (fancy terms for investment advising licenses)..

And eventually landed a job at one of the largest finance firms in the world.
I was doing everything I had once dreamed of...
Employed by one of the most respectable firms in the industry, working hands-on with wealthy clients and getting real, professional experience and education on the subject that meant the most to me.
But something was wrong.
It was incredible getting to work with the 1%, but I soon realized that wasn't why I got into this.
As an immigrant to this country, I saw first-hand what it was like to grow up in a socioeconomically disadvantaged and financially illiterate environment. You see, I was so passionate about finance because I knew how hard money was to come by growing up.

My parents didn't have a lot of it, and they worked their fingers to the bone to get what they had just so they could get by living paycheck to paycheck.
I wanted to become an expert in finance so I could ensure my family would never go back to the same place and so I could teach other people who come from similar places to do the same.
