As the son of South American immigrant parents, I have always been taught the importance of hard work and serving others.
Even though we had it rough growing up financially, I'm forever grateful for the sacrifices my parents made when they brought me and my brother to the US for a chance at better lives.
Because of the financial hardships we had to overcome, I saw first-hand how important money was at a very young age.
Thanks to baseball, I was able to earn a scholarship and was the first person in my family to attend college.
I studied finance in school because deep down, I remembered many of those difficult moments we lived through, largely due to a lack of access to proper financial literacy in our household.
After school, I studied hard and earned the Series 7, Series 66 & CRPC© certifications and had the opportunity to work as a financial advisor at one of the top investment advisory firms on Wall Street.
